Claudette Hauck,  M.S.W, L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Ms. Hauck received her MSW from
Fordham University and completed an internship at Yale New Haven Hospital.  She is certified in Critical
Incident and Stress Debriefing, and has worked with local businesses when an emergency occurs. Ms. Hauck is
also a certified sexual assault counselor, and works with individuals who have been traumatized and suffer from
PTSD.  Her areas of expertise includes working with couples,families, and individuals experiencing anxiety or
depression, domestic abuse, and issues of grief and loss.  Ms Hauck is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Rational Emotive Therapy, Brief Solution/Problem focused therapy. She is a founding member of Divorce
Solutions of Ct. She is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.  Ms. Hauck is trained in Collaborative Divorce,
and is certified as a Parent Coordinator working with parents and issues of divorce. She takes an active role as a
coach in matters such as self improvement, career counseling, and relationship issues, anger management,
communication skills. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and  the International
Association of Collaborative Professionals.
Laura Kasprow,  M.S.W, L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Ms Kasprow graduated from Fairfield
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  Following graduation she worked in the human services field
for five years before returning to school to pursue a graduate degree.  In 1987 she received her MSW form Indiana
State University with a concentration in mental health.  She has been in practice for nineteen years.  As both a
Certified School Social Worker, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Laura's approaches are Solution Focused
Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Strategies and interventions are developed together to achieve both
short and long term goals.  While Laura's focus of practice is counseling children and adolescents, she also works with
couples and families. Ms Kasprow is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
W. Dean Pfeifer,  PhD, Licensed Clinical Psychologist-Dr. Pfeifer received a PhD from Purdue
University, and completed a postdoctoral clinical internship at Norwich Hospital. His experiences are
diverse, include working for the State of Connecticut, and private groups.  Dr. Pfeifer currently focuses on
the treatment of adults, couples and families. He provides treatment in Brief Solution Focused Therapy,
and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. One niche of his private practice focuses on  alternative forms of
conflict resolution.  He works as a trained Mediator to assist in the resolution of matters such as divorce,
business, and interpersonal impasse.  He is also a mental health specialist trained in Collaborative Divorce,
and is an associate in the professional practice pod Divorce Solutions of Connecticut.  Dr. Pfeifer assists
separating or divorcing parents as a certified Parent Coordinator.  Dr. Pfeifer assists parents in the
drafting, and implementation of parenting plans. He is a member of the American Psychological Association.
Sheila Robbins, M.S.W. L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Ms Robbins graduated from Catholic
University of America in Washington D.C. with a masters degree in social work with a concentration in family
therapy.  Sheila has been a licensed therapist for almost ten years.  Her experience includes counseling
children and adolescents, as well as adults and families.  Her practice interventions include Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, and working within the Brief Solution Focused Model. Sheila also provides coaching
services to those who are experiencing transition such as divorce or separation, blending of families, conflict
resolution, family restructuring, parenting support, and issues around grief and loss. She is an active
member of the National Association of Social Workers.

Michele Litwin, A.P.R.N., Board Certified Adult Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner- Ms. Litwin
received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from The University of Connecticut and pursued an advanced
degree in nursing from Yale University.  Her experience includes working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders,
and substance abuse in adults and geriatrics within inpatient and outpatient settings.  She has developed an evening
intensive outpatient program for working adults with substance abuse.  She has implemented several dialectical
behavior therapy groups inpatient and outpatient.  She also worked at Hartford Hospital where she was the
presenter for the Nursing Research Round table which focused on dialectical behavior therapy.  She has been the
presenter for several educational forums, and uses varied therapy approaches including: medication management,
individual therapy, and mindfulness skills.  Michele is a member of The Connecticut Society of Nurse
Psychotherapists, The Connecticut Nurses Association,The American Nurses Association.
Jane Cavanaugh, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ms. Cavanaugh received her MSW from the
University of Michigan and participated in post masters training  at Yale Child Study Center.   Ms. Cavanaugh has been in
practice for over twenty-five years with diverse experiences in child welfare, mental health and educational settings.  As
both a Certified School Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Jane’s focus of practice is counseling children and
adolescents using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy.   Jane also works with adults and couples
and provides coaching services for those dealing with issues  related to separation, divorce, blending families, restructuring
families, parenting, loss and grief.    Ms. Cavanaugh is a member of the National Association for Social Workers.

Nicole Kikosicki, M.S.W, L.C.S.W., Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Ms. Kikosicki graduated from Marist
College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and went on to received her Masters in Social Work from
Adelphi University. Ms.Kikosicki practices an integrative approach to counseling, bringing together a number of
therapeutic approaches, molding them into a single working model that is best suited for the client and issue at
hand. She has worked with a variety of populations and in 2009 received the Connecticut Mental Health Center
Department of Social Work’s annual award for excellence in Clinical Services. Ms.Kikosicki is also member of the
National Association of Social Workers.
